82 Years Ago, US Army Legend George Patton’s Advice on How to Become a ‘Successful Soldier’ Is Still One of the Greatest Military Quotes in Armed Forces History
“To be a successful soldier, you must know history.” Patton wrote it to his son entering West Point, and he lived it from Syracuse in 413 B.C. to El Guettar.
